Okay, I'm having a really hard time finding good NEW[er] Music. So, I've found myself recycling. What is everyone listening to?

Here's whats my 6-Disc Changer:

1. The Cars 'Complete Greatest Hits'
2. Juno Reactor 'Labyrinth'
3. Christ Analogue 'Everyday is Distortion'
4. Massive Attack '100th Window'
5. Killing Joke 'Killing Joke.'
6. Machines of Loving Grace 'Concentration'

Beck - Guero (8)
Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs (9.5)
Pink Floyd - Echoes (7.5)
Micronaut - Europa (8.5)
Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bertie Brains - The Big Eyeball in the Sky (9)

Those are the new ones with their respective scores in my subjective opinion, and the ones that always tend to end up back in my cd player, when i'm not praising all things Sirius...

Amish Rake Fight - Fellow Prisoners (10)
Tool - Aenima (10)
Fluke - Risotto (9.5)
Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese (9.5)
Radiohead - Kid A (10)

Now playing: Eminem - Mosh

On my iPod I've been listening to a bunch of Bessie Smith recordings -- old blues, yum.

On the porch I've been listening to Micronaut's Europa -- music with no words has no bad words, and is therefore good for when the neighbor girls come over.

I've been listening to Scott Sturgis' In A Haze going to sleep. Had been Fellow Prisoners, but then I started falling asleep before Remembrance, and that was unacceptable.

Black Sabbath wakes me up -- just the song The Wizard, though, because the only Sabbath I have on cd is a fairly crappy Best Of comp. This will probably switch to Angst though whenever I find that cd, because it really is hard to wake up in a bad mood with KMFDM.

(I listen to music constantly, partly because I like it and partly because otherwise my brain sings me some stupid parody of a commercial jingle with the lyrics all replaced by things like "I like rats" or "tea is good.")

Well, upon moving, I left most of my CDs by accident. But I'm alright. I still had everything that was regularly in my car. Regular rotation?

1: Chemlab - Burn Out At The Hydrogen Bar
2: KMFDM - Naive
3: Micronaut - Europa
4: White Zombie - Astrocreep 2000
5: CA - EiD

I've still yet to get the Atomica album. First paycheck once I'm caught up with bills, and I will.

For those who are interested:

SO, I bought the new Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel...

Not bad...it's sounds like a mixture between 'Ultra' and 'Songs of Faith..' They had been talking about using a lot more analog gear for this one and you can hear it in a lot of places...pretty neat. The only downside is the same [for me] as it is with most of their albums where 1/2 - 2/3 of the album is great while 1/3 of the songs sound like Solo album B-Sides - which, to ME, border on embarrasing [sorry to the diehards]...

I should note, If you like the 'cinematic' type of 'vibey' music of Amish Rake Fight, I've been listening to Juno Reactor lately. IT rules. It's a little on the more obvious soundtracky/hardsynth/dancy side of the electronic spectrum. If you like how that sounds, definately check it out.

over an out..

Juno Reactor. I heard Conga Fury on EVERY COMPILATION I'VE EVER LISTENED TO.

(Sorry, I had to get that out. I swear, Conga Fury is on every cd. Everywhere.)

Mmm... well, I seem to go on a binge when I discover there's a new Wipeout game or soundtrack. Thusly, I've found the new Wipeout Pure soundtrack, which I've been rocking steadily for about a week. Very, very good stuff. Good driving music.

Outside of that, I've been glued to American Head Charge and Killswitch Engage.

Now playing: Suzanne Vega - Blood Makes Noise
