Interview in a movie
Hey Mike,
Is it true you and the other members of Machines are getting interviewed in some movie about the Tucson music scene?

Yes, that's true. The movie is called "High and Dry", and in theory should be premiered around Labor Day, at an event in Tucson. Quite a few Tucson bands were a part of the documentary.

I could be wrong, but it seems like this documentary has been in the works for a long time...were you guys interviewed when you were still with MoLG? If not, did you each come back to the Tuscon area just for the interview...and did you get a chance to see each other?

Yes, it's been in the works for quite a while - but not as long as you're theorizing. The interviews took place within the last couple of years so far as I know (mine did, anyways). The director lives in LA and spends time in Tucson, so I'm fairly certain that everyone did their interviews wherever they happened to be at the time. I'm also pretty sure that all of the MLG interviews were individual.

Here's to hoping that the thing gets released on DVD sometime soon, because I ain't making it out to Tucson for labor day weekend.
