Well, that's one of the redeeming things about the US- if you don't like the politics of a state, you can leave. Or drive all night for 14 hours straight through it.
Whatever, you know? Kentucky is pushing yet again the idea of removing Darwin theory from school cirriculum. Cf. Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World, for some prophetic musings on that shite.
Think of it this way; we have an ugly history of blaming the victim in situations of lewd and lascivious conduct. This is a progressive move in a way. I mean, if the cheerleaders are enticing the men, clearly the men are the victims if the purient interest is piqued.
And that's why you won't find me in Texas anytime soon.
One thing in their defense?

Of course, at a University, one of the last vestiges of...umm...thought left in America, which is under attack as I write. Interesting.

no ass-shaking allowed!
Speaking of the Darwin theory, how many states is that now that teach only creationism in school? I know Kansas is one of them, now soon to be Kentucky.

Haha. "No, what amazes me the most about this is that apparently there's a Democrat living in Texas." She's probably a plant to create the illusion that Texas is bi-partisan/a democracy ;p
That's why I have no desire to go to Texas. I'm neither democrat nor republican, but I think I'd have the secret service on my ass if I did venture over there. "What? You're not republican? You must be a terrorist"
I'm just glad that Arizona is drifting away from that mentality :)
