Introduce yourselves!
For those of you who read the newsgroup from time to time, how about introducing yourselves... you know, one of those party icebreaker kinds of things.
Any volunteers?

My name is Ben. I play keyboards and program in a local atlanta electronica band, slowEarth. I was introduced to MoLG back when I worked at Tower Records and Concentration was released. Since then, I've been a huge fan. I saw them twice - Once when they were touring with Stabbing Westward (I ended up partying with Ray [molg bassist at the time] that night till about 7AM). We drove all over Atlanta raising hell and went back to his hotel room and pissed off their manager. It was great fun. The next time I saw them was when they opened for Korn. Anyway, MoLG has greatly influenced me as a writer and performer and I am grateful that they existed. I'm even more pleased that Mike is back working on Amish Rake Fight. I love the album and it is reassuring that there is [relevant] electronic musical life after the end of such a great run for a band - AND, most importantly, It is one of those electronic albums that gives me hope for the Evolution of Electronic Music [i personally feel it has become quite stagnant and it gets harder and harder to find something that isn't so rehashed or limited to being 'industrial', or to unlistenably 'Nerdy'].
Rock on Mike...and thanks.
Ben

Hi,
My name is Nick, I live in South Florida, I'm 24 yrs/old. I got into Machines when I was in the 8th grade shortly after Concentration came out and have been a big fan since; in fact I still to this day listen to my MoLG albums regularly. Obviously I've wanted to keep up with anything coming out after Machines split, and love ARF.

did you know, if you've got an account at smg.org, you just use the same login for the arf site? it's freakin posi-net. that's some hardcore synergy right there.
anwway, i dig the arf sound and can't wait to see you guys on tour. best of luck.

Yeah, pretty soon all the sites will be linked together, so one account for everything. This is really the first site to use most of the features of PosiNet. More to come!

I'm Melissa, I live in California (after a 10 year stint in North Carolina...) I liked music, it sucked for a long time, and then I started listening to SMG... It got good again. So I'm now in an attempt to own and see all POSI releases. I went to 5 shows on the DT, and am working on convincing my husband we need to go to San Diego and LA before the SF show that we'll definitely be at... Enjoying adding one more site to the list of stuff to look at daily. You guys keep me sane. If anyone lives near Sacramento, you should PM me - we're looking to meet new people here.

I'm David, 22, longtime SMG newsgroup member. I had to say I was delighted to see a member of MoLG working with Positron!. SMG, MoLG, and Die Warzau are like my holy trinity.
I'm from Columbus Ohio. That's a rare answer on a board including educated people. And yes, the Posinet stuff seems very positive thus far. Once all the kinks get hammered out, I'll be pleased to be a part of it all.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I live in San Francisco, and arrived at this site via SMG and Positron. ARF got my attention due to the show with RFA, and not just because their acronyms are anagrams of each other.
See you in April!
