No Chicago date yet??? Damn. But I guess this leg of the tour is more west coast and the upper edge of the country. I need to be patient.
I hate waitng.....

The tour will eventually hit Chicago. But I should mention that the Milwaukee show is only a 45 minute drive from downtown. If you live in the Northern suburbs, it's even closer. From Wheeling or Northbrook, it's actually only slightly longer than driving downtown.

We have people in the Western states that are driving _hours_ to see the show, so, well, you know...

Well, gee, now you made me feel like a lazy SOB!
Where's my dedication?? Where's my commitment to support this music and the artists that have so graciously been creating it over the years?
I'm in Naperville, so the that would be (according to Mapquest) 104 miles to the venue.
I might have to wait until the eventual Chicago show.

CR-

Since the tour is getting under way do you have any info on a possible Chicago date?

I was all set to go to Milwaukee, and last week my fiance got an invitation for her brothers surprise B-Day party....April 9 :(

Nope. No Chicago date right now. Her brother will have more birthdays.

True, he will have other birthdays, but I'm marrying into an italian family and I'd rather not be found at the bottom of the Chicago River!

Seriously, though...I hope the tour goes well for all involved, I'd love to see all of the bands live, since I am continually amazed by every ARF, Micronaut and MS release that I've heard to date. Hopefully I will get to see the tour at at some point, but it doesn't look like April 9th is the day for me :(

Ok, I've checked, and I WILL be at the Milwaukee show this Saturday. Yes, I know everyone was dying to know this! I just decided to get off my lazy butt and drive myself and my girlfriend up there. There's nothing going on for us Sunday morning, so if I get back to Naperville at 2AM, well then that's OK.
So, see ya there! I'll be the guy in the old WaxTrax! shirt (I ordered one in 1990, and I still wear it to shows).
